Bedroom Decorating Idea 2018

Here are some inspiring bedroom ideas and tips to help you create a bedroom space that may be small but big in style by keeping colours light and bright.

Push your bed up against a corner. Maybe even skip the bulky bed frame. Embrace minimalism and magnify with mirrors. Add storage under the bed. Small bedrooms can have a big impact with the right design.

Whether you opt for the illusion of more square footage or embrace what you have, there are endless ways to make a small space livable and chic.
When it comes to inspiring home decor and bedroom styling I like my room to depict a clean fresh ambience and provide a good airflow. At the end of a long hard day there is nothing better than finally lying down on your bed and relaxing. But how many of us have a conducive inspiring interior style in the bedroom? Keeping it stylish yet functional and calming can be tricky. But you can avoid it without making it look like soulless show home.

We all know the importance of a good night’s sleep. However, do we realise how much the interior can impact this? To discover bedroom decor ideas that are sure to inspire you, just visit Brash and Sassy Interior Designs when it comes to home decor and bedroom styling.

I like my room to depict a clean fresh ambience. My bedroom is where I go to unwind and read and it’s important that the space correlates with my well-being and mood. I adore neutral coloured bedrooms, with delicate pieces of furniture and accessories. Lighting and ambience it provides is really important. So I recommend up to three different lighting focal points within a room. Ranging from ceiling lights to bedside lamps.

Cushions and throw rugs add character to a bedroom and provide different levels of texture which can make a room appear fabulous. I’m really happy using darker colours in the bedroom. It creates such an intimate vibe and I find it incredibly relaxing, plus it’s super sophisticated and very glamorous. I love a thing for fairy tales and so I always seek for that ‘happily ever after’ look in my home.

It’s clear that the main focus of the room is the bed itself. So, as I believe that you can never have enough scatter cushions either, this scene is truly my ideal bedroom. Bedrooms are our personal retreats. Light and airy bedrooms look like a wonderful getaway. The symmetry of the space and decor make for a pleasing view. And you can just imagine yourself watching the clouds go by through those sky lights. Bedrooms should be tranquil and relaxing. So when I decorated mine, I chose a very pale grey wall colour with matching bed linens and curtains. This maximises the light coming into the room. Together with a white wooden painted floor gives the room a calm and airy feel.

Symmetry isn’t always best. Meaning, and intention on the other hand, is what great design is all about. It’s what I have built my entire Design Business on.
